We wish to announce that we are opening our doors to all breeds of horses who need experienced rehabilitation, although we will always look after and help ex-racehorses.
Dr Sue Dyson, who has helped us much in the past, has agreed to be our Scientific Advisor as we embark on this progressive road to help as many equines as we can. There is much experience at Moorcroft, which we wish to put to good use and we always use excellent Vets and Physiotherapists as all horses deserve the best care and experienced knowledge that we can find.
Much help is available and Dr Sue Dyson comes with a vast expanse of knowledge with many different horses. As a rider herself, she really understands how horses feel and react when they are not comfortable or are in pain. Horses are very stoic and to survive in the wild, they learn to hide their pain as this shows weakness and vulnerability to other species.
We relish the opportunity to help as many horses as we can to a better, more comfortable life, and to help as many caring owners to better understand what they are feeling and what their horses are saying to them.
